It wasn't until after lunch that we got onto it and did something. Kids, dog, wife headed down to the beach but, call it coincidence, callit fate, we went the wrong way and had to take a different route thatn we normally take. This took us down to the wharfs and industrial area by the sea. However going this way was in fact a blessing/goodthing because we were able to look at our new boat. MHNZS Canterbury

The dog got to stay in the car until we had had a wander around. We were not aloud to go on board today as they were about to leave.
So we headed out to the ends of the rock wave barrier to watch it go but it never left. It was now leaving tomorrow.
Tanks of oil and tarrow and petrol are also down in this area saw this was a good topic to get the kids talking about.

So this was my day until I called on a great friend to find she was cutting Debbie's hair.
Cool stayed for a while and walked home in the evening light.
Nice walk too.
